The PHREB Committee on Patient, Family, and Community Engagement (CPFCE)  in Health Research Ethics was created through PCHRD Special Order No. 341 to ensure that the policies of PHREB in promoting and safeguarding the rights and well-being of patients, families and their support networks, in the various stages of research are being addressed.

The CPFCE will be tasked to ensure a rights based, patient, family, and community oriented approached that embeds the patients, families, and communities' voice int eh practice and process of research from governance priority setting, choice of methodologies, and actual conduct of research, knowledge translation process, and uptake if new policies, practices, and processes. 

The committee is composed of the following members:
